When I was old enough to manage a needle without poking myself, my mother taught me how to make a wreath. The most difficult part of making a wreath is getting it tight enough to hold its shape. I made many a floppy wreath before I figured it out!

I first learned how to make snowflakes when I was 8 or younger. It was fast and easy and fun. My mother taught me how to do it. I loved how beautiful they looked when we put them on the tree or strung them across a window.
